Journal Entry

Today was an interesting day as I was up early to be at the chapel to turn on the lights for the Jewish service, and get everything prepped for them. It’s always nice to see this group, until they leave the chapel and you realize how messy they are with the bread and juice they are given for prayer. More reason to clean the area and leave it ready for the next group that uses the chapel. After lunch, it was so hot outside I quickly decided I was not going to the recreation yard, and walked over to the chapel for some peace and quiet. I knew it was “movie night” later, so I setup the movie screen, and made sure the sound to the movie was setup not too loud and working perfectly. Tonight we watched the movie “I Can Only Imagine”. What a great movie in my opinion, with an amazing message, and might I also say, it was an emotional movie. It had several men in the chapel crying asking for tissue, and I will admit, I was the one with the tissue, especially since I was a cryer as well. If anyone reading this has Netflix, I would recommend this movie. After the movie, I left everything back to normal and ready for Sunday’s services, and headed back to the dorm, for a shower, snack and call home.
