Today I went to my child development class. We went over defense mechanisms. They are interesting. And something everyone does. It is hard to not be defensive and admit guilt. It is easy to fall into denial. I’m trying to use subliminal by putting my defects into something that is acceptable by social norms. It is a healthier way to protect myself.
Character defects: denial, defensiveness, anxiety.
