My name Is Sharon Y, Johnson and I am located FMC Lexington Satellite Camp on a 51 months Bid. I will be released this year in October of 2025. My charges are Medicaid fraud I have never been in trouble before. I am here because I crossed a boundary trying to help the Mentally ill, Elderly and disabled population at no time was I ever trying to steal from the Federal government. I actually fought my case for 9 years and lost so much money trying to do it. While I had a paid attorney at first I latter had to get a paid federal criminal attorney when I ran out of money. As a Service Facilitator working on behalf of DMAS in the Commonwealth of Virginia I helped people that the State of Virginia actually left behind to take care of themselves through the broken Health Care System in VA. The Mental Facilities and placement for seniors is lacking greatly especially if the individuals have a dual diagnoses of bother mentally illness and a disability. As I traveled the state as a facilitator and wrote care plans for approval for personal care and respite care while waiting on approval from the MCO’S. I really enjoyed my work and I won the Service Facilitator of the year from Virginia Premier my first year in Business. I had a vacant house located in Chester as I travel I would run into Homeless people that no body seem to care about or especially the mentally ill. My vacant home was sitting in empty and I decided to fix it up and place these individuals in the home for great health care, food, shelter, and transportation for services. In the state of VA you are allowed to have 4 unlicensed individuals in a home without being licensed. My mistake was getting paid both ways by providing services and that crossed a boundary. The individuals family gave me POA but that was totally ignored by the Feds. Some of the clients that I help decided to back track the actual truth. Because I did not want to sign a plea deal I was given a superseding charge and Wire Fraud was added to the mix. Well,I would help these people again just om a different way that would not land me here. So my Release plan consist of me returning back home to my house in Chesterfield, VA and redeveloped my land and start a business with the Veterans like a homeless shelter where they can live and get resources to help them with their life instead of living on the street. I have received grant information from different organization’s in VA on how to apply. First step is to find a job and I have reached to my mentor that will help me get a job in a group home setting, get everything set up to return to my home where I still have a 2 year and half month chapter 13 bankruptcy and finish that process and continue to rebuild my credit score with great employment history which makes a good start for a SBA LOAN. My next step is Reforming the prison system by working together with the 9 women at Atwood and start the process of meeting with State leaders to try to get IN front of Congress. Each person has a area that she represents from health care, reduction of long sentences and the reentry process. My small steps is to minister to state jails one day a week to women and try to help them stay on the right path.
