I am serving my community right now by being a good example and talking to people in my unit that see the effort I have been putting into going to class everyday and working to stay out of trouble and not get caught up in drama that causes trouble. I am in a more difficult unit right now that is going to need a bit more work to encourage and to show them that this time in prison is the perfect time to work on bettering our selves as individuals and to start to become what we want to be. I know that the women I live with see everything and I just want them to see that it can be possible to reach goals even from behind these walls. I myself don’t have much access to computers and have not had time to improve my computer skills. I need to improve in that area myself. As far as what I have to work with right now I am doing my best and only hope I can continue so that there will be a change into positivity and and determination to move forward to strive for success more and more everyday. I am hoping that along the way I will be able to get a few women on board to join me then maybe others will follow as well.
