I have been working on a daily basis to improve myself and with that comes improving on others as well. We are all connected and when something is done by you it ripples out to the people you associate with and also the ones that you don’t. I have been conscious of the way I react and respond to challenges and certain circumstances. It is easy to handle the good and loving aspects of life but it is a challenge to change the way that you react to the things that are negative around you. I have been working hard to engage in meaningful dialogue that is healthy for all the people involved. I express the importance of the fact that it’s okay to have different opinions and there is no need for me to try and force you to think my opinion is the right one or vice versa. We can all learn from one another because each individual has a different view because they are looking through different lenses. It’s a great way to prepare for the things that we will encounter back at home. Life is full of things that are not the way we want them to be. It’s how we adjust and respond that matters the most.
