Today is Friday and that means that another week is past which puts me one week closer to getting back to my family. Every Friday has become a new milestone for me to know that I’m getting closer to my release date. Small milestones are important when trying to build success in many things. It gives you the opportunity to give yourself the chance to have some positive affirmations. Each small milestone keeps you motivated along the way to success. When I started my trucking company this same method of small milestones helped me have a successful company for 10 years. I worked towards small goals each week and then each month. I continued to build out my plan as my business grew and opportunities changed. That’s the same thing that I plan to do with my success plan and my journals and all of the steps that I am taking to be successful before I get to the other side. I will have a plan of action and many alternate courses of action to take in the event that I face hurdles. Life is meant to be lived and it will not wait for us to take advantage of the opportunity and the blessing to wake up and get out of bed today. You have to take initiative and I plan to do that everyday.
