We are planning a “Family Feud” game night in our unit and my Mentor Alicia Cronkhite and I went door to door in our unit this evening, asking for donations so we can make some prize gift bags for the winners.
We just went to Commissary yesterday, so it was an opportune moment to go around. We had good fun, highlighted again, one on one, what Peer Success Team does and what we stand for. People were generous and some were very honest and wanted to show their lockers which were empty.
At the same time, we are working on getting the questions & answers ready, in English and Spanish.
The majority of the population here speaks Spanish. That is why we are so grateful for Alicia, as she is perfectly bi-lingual.
Well, this old lady is tired of all the walking and talking, I am ready for bed.
Good night everyone and as we say back home: “Morgen, gezond weer op!” (Wishing you a healthy awakening tomorrow!).
