The NATO Top, held in my home country The Netherlands this time, had turned into a hopeful event. We should never despair, good things should be happening soon.
It was amazing to see images from the town I grew up in, areas I used to visit and our Royal Couple, beautiful and classy as ever. Our Queen Maxima, who is Argentinian, had to leave her home and loved ones to start a new life in a tiny country far from home. She became an immigrant, had to learn a new language and culture which was so different from her own.
She became a role model for many, Dutch and foreign, building bridges and breaking taboos, never shy of difficult conversations.

Moving forward is key, planning right now is key, reaching to others is key. Do not sit still. Be adventurous and take that leap forward.
