Critical Thinking Response:

  1. Ripple uses decentralized software to process transactions immediately after being confirmed and not using humans on either end, but technology.
  2. With cheaper, faster transactions, Ripple takes out the biasness of humans and the slowness of humans in the process.
  3. People who work for the current fiat system and banks will fight against the new technology saying it will cost jobs. Those powerful people also like to be in control of things like payments and money, so disruptors have a harder time breaking through the mainstream by the current system and regulators.
