While preparing my sermon for this Sunday I came across several things I recognize that I could use for my daily journey through the inside. God has given us the world to be in control of. Now the verse that I am working with is from Psalms Chapter 8 verses 4-8. While reading this I came to realize that the current world I part of in inside the Ashland FPC. While the verse is talking about bringing honor and glory to God by bringing the Word into alignment with our life. I would like to point out about how the things we do for ourselves to better ourselves can cast a light onto others around us. There is so much negativity from other inmates and staff here. But it’s up to ourselves to rise above this. To not let this be a reason to not do the things we need to do just because outside factors hold us back. No classes to take then read a book to teach yourself. Others saying they only want to focus on what is going on in here show them that preparing now will benefit them. Not by waiting till the last day to go home where you will find the struggles even more hard becasue you are unprepared. There is all kinds of things you can do to invest in your future. Rise above all this. Let others see how you walk in your authority.
