What is the Brave Program? (Part 10)
The privileges of the Brave Community are apparent and abundant, they are the most explicate symbols of mobility and personal success within the therapeutic community. Each level of the privileges signifies a position or goal in the change process. Privileges such as service committee promotions represents changes in community status. Also community members are provide access to the Brave Incentive Store, the Brave Store offers exclusive items not sold on the institution commissary menu. But also, negative behaviors displayed by the community members may result in community consequences and removal of the incentives. The community upholds an accountability plan to ensure we remain a healthy functioning therapeutic environment. The purpose of the community accountability format are for members to take accountability and encourage each other to challenge negative behavior.
