Journal Entry

In what way does your past record or decisions influence the way that others perceive you?
I was very ashamed of my past bad decisions. Now because of my bad choice it will be with me forever and I have to live with that. I didn’t grow up making bad decisions nor did I get it from anyone I did it myself at 37 years old. Now I have to prove to others that my bad decision was a one time event and it will never happen again.

How will your life change when you finish serving your sentence?
I will have served over 16 years in prison. Things have sped by like technology and people have moved on with their lives. I will have to relearn many things that the public does everyday and it will be nice to see life away from barbed wire and fences. Everything I do will be with confidence and being thankful for the blessings that I have to be given a second chance.
