- Audio bible podcast and Joel Osteen podcast. Today’s Osteen episode was about feeling stuck and was the most perfect message for what I’m going through in my personal life. It was confirmation that I was making the right decision by remaining still – something I’ve never done before. I had made the right choice to be still and wait on the Lord. Joel reminds us that while we don’t always see a way, God makes ways that we can’t see.
- Had a deep prayer/communication time with God and was able to lay out all of my feelings, worries, and forgiveness at His feet.
- Watched the Phillies game, which I do whenever I can in order to bond with my husband. We always have fun discussing the Phillie games with each other over the phone. -Sent a book report to Prison Professors.
- Called my Oregon family, who consoled and supported me with what I’m going through. I’m beyond grateful to have them in my life. After all these years, I’ve finally allowed myself to be vulnerable with loved ones in my life, like them. It’s so difficult to do sometimes, but I know they love me and care about me deeply. Had I been vulnerable with them regarding my past struggles, I probably wouldn’t have travelled down the road I chose.
