I cannot stress this enough: BECAUSE of Edovo and the courses and resources offered, I’ve gained valuable knowledge that has taken me leaps forward into creating a successful future after release. I’ve acquired knowledge that’s impacted my goals and values, boundaries, and mental and spiritual health. The DOC provides very minimal learning opportunities, often in extremely discriminatory ways (I’m restricted from most educational opportunities based on my past crime), but Edovo makes up for what America’s prisons are embarrassingly lacking.
