- It feels great to be able to bless others even while in prison. After listening to Joel Osteen’s episode yesterday, I took his advice: I had an extra pajama set I no longer needed, so I gave it to a lady (a small one lol) who doesn’t have any pajamas. Now she won’t have to worry about buying one. Seeing her so happy was awesome. I gave another (small) lady an extra pair of pants and donated an old sweater. I helped care for my two friends who just had surgery. God ended up blessing me. Here’s how: A woman who had prejudice against me for a very long time called me over to her and apologized. Apparently, she’d allowed her friend to persuade her not to like me and created false statements about me. However, after living in my dorm for about a month now, this lady sees that her friend was leading her wrongly. I accepted her apology and was very appreciative of it.
- Someone asked me to make her bed for her, since she had to run to school. I normally don’t, but went ahead and did it. She tried to offer canteen for it later, but I refused to accept anything.
- Finished reading The Music Shop. Finished my book report on it.
- I saw the chaplain yesterday, who told me that they’re still working on receiving the drum kit donation.
- Read a book on National Parks “The American Experience”, I think it was called. It was about the history of them becoming national parks, so it wasn’t something I was too interested in. I don’t mind reading about some history, however if it’s too in depth about a topic that I won’t be needing, I try not to fill too much of my brain space with it.
