Weekly Schedule and Announcements 

This week’s operations have commenced with a focus on the Pinetop, AZ road project. The following details outline our schedule and logistical considerations: 

Accommodation: 

Hotel: Days Inn, 480 W Deuce of Clubs, Show Low, AZ 85901. 

Per Diem: $30 cash per day. 

Amenities: Complimentary breakfast. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. It’s advisable to bring personal snacks and drinks. 

Weather Conditions: 

Highs: 82-85°F with possible afternoon rain. 

Lows: Around 60°F; a raincoat and a hoodie are recommended. 

Required Equipment: 

● Hardhats, traffic vests, and boots are mandatory. 

● A headlight or flashlight is recommended. 

Project Overview: 

Scope: Approximately 1.5 miles of roadwork in Pinetop. 

Tasks: Water blasting to remove existing lines, layout and painting of new edge lines and centerlines, and installation of three high-visibility crosswalks using preformed thermoplastic with infrared machines and torches.

Monday, July 29, 2024 

In-Town: Reggie, Zach, and Kalill worked on re-striping the Barnes and Noble parking lot. Sean and Dillion completed Marana 2 STOP & 1 STOP AHEAD stencils before joining the Barnes and Noble restripe. 

Departure: Anthony and I departed for Pinetop with the Water Blaster and Longline Paint Truck. 

Hours Worked: 5:48 AM – 5:32 PM (11 hours 44 minutes) 

Tuesday, July 30, 2024

Yard Work: Zach handled yard work in Tucson. 

Departure: Sean, Reggie, Kalill, and Dillion left for Pinetop with the Yellow Box Truck and F-250 Utility Bed, carrying Shortline Paint Stripers, Infrared Machine, Torches/Propane, and Preformed Thermoplastic. 

In Pinetop: Anthony and I began water blasting and laid out new striping. After line removal, Anthony returned to Tucson with the Water Blaster Truck. 

Hours Worked: 6:28 AM – 3:08 PM (8 hours 40 minutes) 

Wednesday, July 31, 2024 

Off: Anthony and Zach were off. 

In Pinetop: Sean, Reggie, Kalill, Dillion, and I continued work on the road project. ● Hours Worked: 6:30 AM – 5:12 PM (10 hours 42 minutes) 

Thursday, August 1, 2024 

Off: Anthony was off. 

TBD: Zach’s tasks in Tucson were to be determined. 

In Pinetop: Sean, Reggie, Kalill, Dillion, and I continued road work. 

Hours Worked: 4:30 AM – 6:40 PM (14 hours 10 minutes) 

Friday, August 2, 2024 

TBD: Anthony and Zach’s work in Tucson was still to be determined. ● In Pinetop: Sean, Reggie, Kalill, Dillion, and I finalized the road project. ● Departure: We began our return to Tucson. However, the Longline Truck broke down 

outside of Payson, resulting in a significant delay. We arrived home at 1:07 AM, making it an 18-hour workday. 

Hours Worked: 6:55 AM – 1:07 AM (18 hours 12 minutes) 

Weekly Total Hours Worked: 

Monday: 11 hours 44 minutes 

Tuesday: 8 hours 40 minutes 

Wednesday: 10 hours 42 minutes 

Thursday: 14 hours 10 minutes 

Friday: 18 hours 12 minutes 

Total Hours: 63 hours 28 minutes 

Overall, the week has been demanding but productive, with considerable progress made on the Pinetop road project. Despite the unexpected breakdown on Friday, the team’s effort and adaptability ensured that we met our project goals. Future weeks will focus on addressing any remaining tasks and managing any follow-up projects.
