I am preparing by saving half of my money i earn and what my family sends to me. I try not to order frivolous things in commissary. I wish we would be able to get out on work release so we can earn money and be productive. Especially at camps where we are allowed to go out into community for medical appointments. There is no reason why we cannot go to work somewhere to start preparing for our release.
