I am so proud of myself for continuing to write in this journal. One of my bad habits is I tend to not finish what I start so I made a commitment. Not just because I believe in your mission but because I wanted to start and finish something. While the finish for journaling will be a long one as I have 10 more years left on this 22 year sentence. Everyday I hope for reform or early release on merit. I focus everyday on working towards something positive that will better my outcome when I am released. I try to spread the word here at Pekin to encourage others to join this mission. Moral here is low as there is not many jobs and not much to do. We need the BOP to re-think these camps we really should have more work release opportunities to prepare for release. They send people here with sentences like 1 year what is the point put those people on home confinement they don’t belong in prison.
