This class I took today is going to be 7-8 weeks long and will focus on parenting while incarcerated and when you get out

I will also need this class in order to qualify for a kids Day in August at the Fed Camp. So there again are multiple reasons for attending and participating.

We discussed some parenting techniques and strategies when being divorced or separated from the mother of your child, we talked about how to handle things while still in an active relationship with your child’s mother as well

Everyone in the group had atleast one child and most had 2 or more like myself. Of course this course will contain some tough conversations as it did on day one . How to tell your children where you are going ,do you even tell your child where you are going or is it better to say you are somewhere else for a little while, and how to prepare yourself for those moments where your child knows you aren’t coming home for a while

Just the first class and it was only an hour, but we spent an extra 15 mins with the group as there was so much interaction and communication
I speak to my kids every single day from the prison phones, which I am finding out is truly a blessing as some of the dad’s in here can’t or don’t ha e ability to speak to their kids each day
I am sure I will pick up some valuable information during these sessions, hoping I can offer some value to the group as well.
