Response to today’s question
“Letter to an incarcerated brother” by Hill Harper.
I read this book in the beginning of my prison sentence over 7yrs. ago.
There was a time when I thought that people on the outside did not think about the people on the inside, this book helped me to understand that people are concerned about us even if we are strangers. From that time forward I began to notice the many people who not only advocate for us be cheer us on to becoming the best versions of ourselves.
