Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 57 degrees F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, an apple and water.

Talked to Doris last night: she is well and staying indoors to keep dry and warm. It has been raining all day in the Bay Area. She asked me if I watched the football game last night, I told her I watched the highlight and the 49ers won the game. Diana and Oralia called tp let Doris know that San Francisco won the game. The next game is on Sunday. She walked a total of 4325 steps today and step length was 14.2 inches with a symmetry of 82 %. I told her it is good that she walked to strengthen and improve her legs. The weather is cold and dreary that the dogs are staying in their dog house. I told her I attended and hosted the ACE Class today. I am just ready to clean up, and do some reading and ready for bed. As I will be a busy day tomorrow.
It rained all night and in the morning until 6:00 AM. The morning was dark and overcast, but it was cool cool and there was a slight breeze. I was able to get my walking in while there was a break in the rain. Completed 6 miles in 1 hour 16 minutes and 12 seconds. The average walking times were: 12 minutes and 9 seconds per mile (milla) or 49 seconds per lap (vuelta). The basketball court was damp and wet but was adequate for walking. The walking trail was flooded. Finished walking at 8:00 AM and the rain started again. Stretched at the training room until 8:20 AM. Had a bagel and peanut butter for snacks. Found out that the email system is back on line. took a shower at 8:50 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Counselor Reyes informed me that we will have a new inmate joining us today. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well, she said her ankle was hurting this morning and she applied some analgesic ointment and she is feeling better. She walked 45oo steps yesterday. I encouraged her to set a goal of 5000 step per day. I told her the email system was back online, but there is a long line. I will only reply to some of her important emails, but I will read all her emails. I told her I will have a busy day with GED / ESL and helping host the Real Estate class tonight with David Crisp. The weather in the Bay Area has been raining. I told her I was able to get my 6 miles walking in before the rain started again. The dogs are staying in their dog house away from the inclement weather. I told her it might be sometime before I could catch up on my journal entries and class reports.
Showered at 9:20 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: fish sandwich, beans , salad, banana and water. Went to sewing room to repair some uniforms. GED/ESL classes from 12:00 – 2:30 PM. The new inmate arrived at the camp at 2:00 PM, and I processed him. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Chili, beans, corn, bread, and water. Worked on my journal entries. Real Estate class 6:30 – 7:00 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well, so are the dogs. Email system is up. Walked 6 miles and stretched. Attended ACE Class. GED / ESL classes.
