Completed walking 6 miles at 8:10 AM in 1 hour 16 minutes and 30 seconds. Walking times were: 12 minutes and 12 seconds per mile (milla) or 49 seconds per lap (vuelta). The morning walk started out in the dark, cold in the 40’s, high clouds and dense fog. As the dawn sky emerged dark red and brown with the dark blue sky. As the morning progressed the dawn sky turn to pastel red and orange and the sky turned dark grey. As the sun rise, the horizon was illuminated and the red orange sphere was on display for a brief period. then It was shielded by the high clouds and dense fog. the rabbits were out grazing by the basketball court in the early morning hours. Stretched at the basketball court until 8:30 AM. Surprise Census count at 8:30 AM. Checked and replied to Doris email. Cleaned the computer room. Had some donuts and nutty bar for snacks. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: nachos, corn, beans, an apple and water. Census count at 10:00 AM. Talked to Doris at 10:15 AM: Doris is well and she is staying indoors as the weather is cold and foggy in the Bay Area. The dogs are well and are keeping warm too. She missed the visitation with me today. I told her not to worry about it, as she has to depend on others to drive her. She did not sleep well last night, insomnia. She will work on her Valentine’s Inventory. I told her I would catch up on my class reports, Spanish lessons and read the Spanish phrase book form Karlee. Showered at 11:00 AM and changed to BOP uniform. The computer room was locked down because the CO found some contraband. So probably no email for Today, hopefully the lockdown does not last too long. Went to the library to work on my Spanish Lessons. Back to the unit at 3:20 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded beef, carrots, hot dog bun, green beans and water. It has been raining since 1:30 PM and expected to last all night. The computer was reopened at 3:00 PM, thanks to CO ward.
