It takes a deep commitment to change and an even deeper commitment to grow. If we don’t change, we don’t grow. I was in one of those 12-step programs one time and I could remember one of those counselors always saying little quotes. Her favorite one was, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” I used to always say in my mind, “It only stays the same.” In order for us to change, we have to be willing. We can’t become who we need to be by remaining who we are. I have embraced change with arms wide open. Now that I have changed, it’s time to improve. My goal is to take this non-profit organization and help as many people as I can. I am thankful for the people who have come into my life and are helping to make my dream a reality.
