This is my birthday weekend. Thank God that I’ve made it to see another year. As I grow older, wisdom has entered into my mind, fully and completely. Things I saw when I was 18, look different to me at this age. Things I thought about back then, I think about from a different perspective now. Certain things don’t have the same allure and I definitely can’t be fooled by the same trickery of ignorance. With that being said, all the good things that I allowed to get past me, all the benefits that life had for me, and all the events and adventures that I didn’t get the chance to partake in, will now be discovered and explored. I am coming out of here with a clean slate, with perception, morals, principles, standards, values, and character. I refuse to be the person I once was or deal with the things or people that I once dealt with, doing the things that I once did to put me in such a place as this. I have found my way!!!
