Reflection, appreciation, optimism
This is a significant day. It’s a day of memories – fond ones – of a chapter of my life that’s closed now. Closed or not, each year since my arrest, I reflect on this day with great appreciation for what it meant, what it means now. That reflection informs my optimism for the future, and my evolution attained through therapy and treatment that enables my positive and healthy contributions to my future chapters as a better person.
Grateful and opimistic.
