9/26/2023 (Day #4290)
Resonant…
I had adopted a daily recitation, it’s an excerpt from Saint-Exupery’s “The Little Prince”. For me, it’s my way of expressing positive and hopeful reminders across the universe to my kids, and then to my beloved Grandma after she passed away. My Mom and Aunt composed a written memorial to my Grandma and included the excerpt, that was meaningful and thoughtful to me beyond any words. I still recite the excerpt to this day, with the same sentiment and intent for my kids and other important people in my life, past and present.
You, you alone will have the stars as noone else has them.
In one of the stars I shall be living.
In one of them I shall be laughing.
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night…
You – only you – will have the stars that can laugh!
– Antoine de Saint-Exupery, “The Little Prince”
Humbly.
