This was a book that teaches about the way to prepare for success and the way to get, keep and make money. most people need even want to have more money. A lot of people including me land in prison driven by a desire/ addiction for money. this book gave me a way to think about money differently more like a consistent workout regimen you must work out hard and move the right way or you will lose your gain from the hard work.
KEY POINTS:
your wealth is not in some bag you carry around its your knowledge
wealth can be power and make many other things possible, but you must take time to study what it is you want to get there you can get money through things you learn and know but also training of a sort so seek wisdom of people that are good with money(legal money) all advice should be carefully reviewed, does it align with your values?
Keep one-tenth of everything you earn, invest in something (do research) this will make you money SOOO now your money is WORKING FOR YOU set small task see them thru to gain the confidence for bigger task, this will also show you not to start impractical tasks don’t confuse necessary expense with desires because desires will always grow along with your growing income… BUDGET
The more wisdom we know the more we may earn don’t procrastinate the time is NOW
If given the choice of gold or wisdom don’t ignore wisdom and waste gold just because someone is friend or family does not mean you take on their burden by loaning them money and possibly losing it. instead help them by giving them knowledge of how to save to pay their debts better a lil caution than great regret
the wish to be rich is of little purpose you must do more than just wish. i noticed that while i have had plenty of money through get rich quick schemes and scams or. i also lost it quick because i didn’t respect myself or my community while getting it. i always wanted to live not above my means but not below the poverty level either. This never seemed possible without either. This reading this i see how slowly but surely and fast enough your money can compound. i think this made me feel like through hard work and endurance I can live my own American dream without crime but still own a home and have lil to no debt.
