here is a little bit of information about me…
I am Alaskan born and raised, born in Ketchikan in ’84, third gen commercial fisherman. Lompoc is the closest Low to my home, which feels like I am on the other side of the world! I have been a captain of the F/V “The Chaser” since 2013, I was arrested at sea, anchored up, the police showed up on my boat, during the covid-19 pandemic, on their own vessel, to serve a $50 traffic warrant! Now I’ve been in ever since, my boat is gone (40 ft. commercial troller) without a scrap of paperwork to say it was seized or taken or anything, everything I owned was on that boat, now it’s just gone…Anyway, when I get out I plan to resume my fishing career, I still hold my permits but I have no vessel, but I will figure it out.
