Today started early again at the I-10 warehouse job, picking up where we left off on layout and paint. With Anthony off again, I stayed focused on playing a supportive yet proactive role on the team. I helped mark out the remaining layout for stall lines, loading zones, and directional arrows. I’ve been getting faster and more accurate with chalking and spacing. That growth means a lot to me—it shows I’m progressing and taking my role seriously.

Once the layout was finished, I transitioned into spraying. I kept a close eye on machine flow, overspray, and pressure throughout the day. I made sure our cleanup between paint colors was quick and thorough to avoid contamination. I also rotated out paint buckets and helped maintain a clean and clear work zone.

In the second half of the day, I shifted focus to Rio Rico. We traveled to Santa Cruz for Longline painting. It was a change of pace from warehouse work, but I was ready. I walked the area first, assessing the road surface, visibility, and any curve spots. Then I helped run the paint and walked lines with a flag for coverage.

Being involved in both types of jobs today reminded me how versatile I need to be—able to jump from private property work to roadway painting without losing a step. I ended the day tired but proud. I was consistent, adaptable, and stayed engaged the entire time.
