Journal Entry

Today I define a future roadmap, inspired by Eco‑Sólidos alumni who joined GeoAzul or started businesses, with reoffending dropping from ~65% to ~45% Justice Trends+5The Guardian+5Hopebuilding+5.

Goal: create a structured five-step reintegration plan

Steps

1. Identify vocational interests: e.g., recycling management, carpentry, agriculture. 2. Build credentials: track hours and outcomes in my skill.

3. Create resume outline: list skills, leadership roles, community impact. 4. Network: connect with released inmates who joined GeoAzul or similar. 5. Set release-date milestones: plan for job applications, housing, support groups.

Action items today

● Ask supervisors for a written overview of my work (hours, roles).

● Write a draft resume with prison-built credentials.

● Request mentors among alumni involved in GeoAzur for guidance.

Motivation: I see real examples: former inmates now employed in urban waste management, earning income, and rebuilding families . With this plan, each day I move closer to that outcome.
