Having a person mission statement has given me focus and purpose. Over the last 23 plus year that I have been Incarcerated I’ve had to finds ways’ to be the change that I wanted to see. I know we hear this all the time. But in my case It is a way of life in here for me.. I am severing 1,111 months; That’s right 92 years 7 month. and without purpose I would have given up long ago.
Mission statement:
I am the catalyst for changing the way America views its incarcerated sons
and daughters and the reason I fight on even in my darkest hours.
The month Of August was very hard for me. My father was rusted to the Hospital August 4th on my Mothers birthday, having to undergo surgery to remove his infected Gallbladder and a cist that had gangrene, Only to have a stoke when he found out that My little Brother was shot and killed, a week later My aunt passed away, and in the beginning of August My oldest sister began to wear a life vest to keep her heart going.
Now I have to find a way to encourage them and help them navigate this hard time in our lives. keep us in prayer as I do for all my brothers and sisters in the fight for justice and fairness.
